Callan Technology was established in 2001 as a result of the acquisition of the DC servomotor business from Danaher Motion (Pacific Scientific). Our history can be traced back to 1973 when Kollmorgen set up a manufacturing plant in Ireland. Over the years we have worked with Kollmorgen, AEG and Pacific Scientific (Danaher Motion).
This history has allowed the management and staff to gain valuable experience in the design and manufacture of Servomotors and all of this combined experience allows us to give you the customer the best possible solution for you DC servomotor needs.

1980 | Kollmorgen, Ireland commences design & development for European market. | |
1987 | AEG, Germany acquires Kollmorgen, Ireland and operates as AEG Servo Systems Ltd. (ASSL). | |
1997 | Pacific Scientific (Rockford, USA) acquires ASSL. | |
